The subject of the research are the content, forms, methods and means of the 
methodology for using electronic educational resources for teaching physics in higher 
educational institutions.
The scientific novelty of the research is followings: 
improved software methodological support for theoretical and practical 
information about the laws of geometric optics based on the PhET platform was 
developed; 
improved teaching methods using electronic software in creating an image of 
light refraction on a spherical face of two media (Crocodile Physics and PhET); 
improved methodological support for teaching the section of physics "Optics" 
of the general course of physics through information and communication 
technologies; 
topics such as the main elements of optical devices (mirror and lens), 
geometric optics and simple optical systems, the law of rectilinear propagation of 
light, the law of reflection of light, the law of refraction of light, the mutual 
independence of light rays, are developed on the basis of the priority application of 
methods of didactic scientific knowledge (brain assault, Venn diagram, case study
assessment). 
The implementation of research results: 
on the basis of improving the methodology for using electronic educational resources 
in teaching physics in higher pedagogical educational institutions: 
organizational and methodological aspects of the use of electronic educational 
resources in teaching physics from proposals and recommendations for the use of 
variable approaches based on the integration of teaching aids, at differential stages in 
environments focused on the perception of physical data in ensuring the fulfillment of 
tasks set within the framework of an international scientific project funded Polish 
Republican Agency for Academic Exchanges (NAWA) on the topic "3D Digital Silk 
road" under the number PPI / APM / 2019 / 1 / 00004 (Certificate of the Chirchik 
State Pedagogical University No. 04/2956 dated November 5, 2022). 
As a result of 
this, an increase in the efficiency of mastering the concepts of the “Optics” section 
of the general course of physics by students was achieved; 
the model of using electronic educational resources in teaching physics from 
the recommendations aimed at ensuring sustainable differential optimization of topics 
on the main elements of optical devices with academic tasks in describing the

refraction of light, was used in the creation of the textbook “Umumiy Physicsdan 
Practicum (Optics)” (“Workshop on the general course Physics (Optics)”) for the 
direction of education 60530900-Physics, 60531100-Astronomy, 60531200-Medical 
Physics of the National University of Uzbekistan (Certificate of the National 
University of Uzbekistan No. 02-315 dated November 15, 2022, certificate of the 
Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan No. 233-0100 based on Order No. 233 dated July 19, 2022). As a result, 
the methodological support for explaining the topics of the “Optics” section was 
enriched, assistance was provided in improving the efficiency of students' mastering 
of software tools;
a methodology for increasing the effectiveness of teaching physics based on 
the use of electronic educational resources recommendations for the application of 
types of work that provide understanding and performance of physical tasks in a short 
time to the information trajectory of students' activities with a flexible repetition 
interval in a digital analysis environment were used in the creation of the textbook 
“Physikadan Amalii mashgulotlar” (“Workshop in Physics”) for the direction of 
education 5110200-Physics and Astronomy of the Chirchik State Pedagogical 
University (certificate No. 166-077 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary 
Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 13, 2022). As a 
result, the development of knowledge, skills and abilities of students of a higher 
pedagogical educational institution in the use of software pedagogical tools has been 
achieved.
