The practical results of the research are:

on the basis of reflexive monitoring, the professional competencies of students 
of higher education institutions were developed; 
on the basis of reflexive monitoring, the structural and functional model for the 
development of professional competencies of students at higher educational 
institutions has been improved; 
based on reflexive monitoring, criteria (technological, reflexive), levels 
(intuitive, normative, creative), indicators of development of professional 
competencies of students of higher educational institutions are determined. 
The reliability of the research results is determined by the development of 
professional competencies of students of higher educational institutions on the basis 
of a pedagogical and psychological, methodological approach to the problem, based 
on the work of domestic, foreign scientists, as well as practitioners in the field of 
pedagogical education; the application of complementary research methods consistent 
with the objectives of the study; quantitative and qualitative provision of analysis and 
research characteristics; representativeness of experimental works, as well as 
processing of obtained results using methods of mathematical and statistical analysis. 
Scientific and practical significance of the study results. The scientific 
significance of the research results is explained by the development of professional 
competencies of students at higher educational institutions, the study of the evolution 
and conceptual foundations of the concepts of professional training of students in the 
process of higher pedagogical education. 
The practical significance of the research results is determined by the content, 
didactic laws and principles of the development of professional competencies of 
students, the possibility of using a structural and functional model when creating a 
state educational standard for the direction of education, qualification requirements
textbooks, teaching aids of a new generation.
