ИЦиГ СО РАН Федеральное государственное бюджетное научное учреждение «Федеральный исследовательский центр Институт цитологии и генетики Сибирского отделения Российской академии наук» (ИЦиГ СО РАН) директор – академик РАН Николай Александрович Колчанов ИЦиГ СО РАН – это мультидисциплинарный, многопрофильный биологический институт с 60-летней историей, проводящий исследования по ключевым направлениям, связанным с фе- номеном наследственности (на уровне генов, геномов, клеток, организмов и популяций). ИЦиГ СО РАН по праву считается одним из ведущих биологических институтов в России, обладаю- щим высокопрофессиональным кадровым составом. В 2015 году образовался Федеральный исследовательский центр путем присоединения к Ин- ституту цитологии и генетики СО РАН в форме филиала Сибирского научно-исследовательско- го института растениеводства и селекции СО РАСХН (СибНИИРС). Миссия ИЦиГ СО РАН: Решение приоритетных задач развития научно-технологического ком- плекса РФ в области генетики и селекции растений, генетики и селекции животных, генетики человека и биотехнологии на основе методов молекулярной генетики, клеточной биологии и биоинформатики. Стратегическая задача: Проведение полных циклов исследований от генерации фундамен- тальных знаний до прикладных разработок в области генетики и селекции растений, генетики и селекции животных, генетики человека и биотехнологии на основе методов молекулярной генетики, клеточной биологии и биоинформатики, имеющих приоритетное значение для ре- шения задач агропромышленного, биотехнологического, биологического и фармацевтического комплексов России. Кадровый состав: в составе ИЦиГ СО РАН насчитывается 63 научных подразделения, в кото- рых работает 990 человек, в том числе 417 научных работников, из которых 175 сотрудников в возрасте до 39 лет, 2 советника РАН, 4 академика РАН, 3 члена-корреспондента РАН, 58 доктор- ов наук, 247 кандидатов наук (по данным на конец 2015 года). Аспирантура: На конец 2015 года в аспирантуре ИЦиГ СО РАН обучалось 69 аспирантов. Публикации: Институт активно печатается в российских и зарубежных журналах и является в российской биологии одним из признанных лидеров. В 2015 году опубликовано 202 статьи, зарегистрированных в международной базе Web of Knowledge (WoS), общее количество статей в рецензируемых журналах более 370. Статьи Института цитировались в WoS в 2015 г. более 4 000 раз.
