The importance of the theme. In Central Asia, there were Bukhara, Khiva and Kokand khanates in the period between 16^th and 20^th centuries. For example, Bukhara khanate was founded by Sheibanids dynasty in 1501, from 1533 it has been referred to as this name.From the period of Manghites dynasty, it has been referred to as Bukhara Emirate. In 1868, after losing the army of Russian Empire, it lost large areas, and Russian protectorate had been installed over Bukhara Emirate. The Khanate of Khiva was founded in 1512. Russian protectorate had been installed over Khiva Khanate too. After Bukhara Emirate and The Khanate of Khiva were conquered by soviet army in 1920, it had been eliminated. The Khanate of Kokand was founded in 1710. After it was conquered by the army of the Russian Empire in 1876, its areas were included into the General- Governor of Turkestan.

In the period of the Khanates of Central Asia, there were great changes in the socio-economic, cultural life of the country. Despite the mutual wars of Khanates and internal conflicts had a negative effect on the economic life, the development of cultural life was not stopped. Especially, in the field of architecture great strides had been made. For instance, the development of Ichan Kal’a in the city of Khiva, The formation of the current appearance of the Registan in Samarkand, Sitorai Mohi Khosa in Bukhara, Nurillaboy Palace in Khiva, Khudayarhkan Palace in Kokand and building such palace complexes and many other types of buildings shows the evolution of architecture. Likewise, in the architecture of this period there were traditional styles too, in addition, you can view the used new methods.

Proceeding from the above, the study of the architecture of the period of the Central Asian khanates are considered to be the urgent task
