A sample curriculum for a Continuing Professional Development course consists of the following modules:
1. Development of the teacher's communicative skills.
2. Information communication technologies and media literacy.
3. Issues of self-development and continuous professional development. 4. Pedagogical responsibility and flexibility.
5. Issues of implementation of inclusive education.
6. Knowledge of normative legal documents of education and issues of use in professional activity.
7. News in science and topical issues of teaching science.
8. Methods and tools for evaluating students' competencies.
II. Objectives and objectives of the course
The purpose of the course is to regularly update the professional knowledge, skills and qualifications necessary to improve the effectiveness of the modern education-English language process in the audience based on modern methods, to develop their professional competence based on the qualification requirements.
The tasks of the course include:
- development of communicative and communication skills of the pedagogue in the audience;
- teaching advanced technologies of the English language and foreign experiences and developing ICT and media literacy;
- self-development and continuous improvement of the
quality of training of students teaching methods of professional development;
- information and communication technologies in the professional activity of pedagogues’ development of application skills;
- continuous development of professional knowledge, skills and qualifications of pedagogues based on modern approaches and innovations in accordance with qualification requirements;
-forming the responsibility and flexibility of the pedagogue and introduction of inclusive education;
- formation of knowledge of normative and legal documents of education and the ability to use them in professional activities;
- formation of pedagogical skills, technology, innovations and methods and tools for evaluating students' competencies.
