LESSON PLAN Topic: Hobbies Time: 45 min Class: 3 Level: Elementary Technological map of the lesson
The aim of the lesson: Educational: -According to the lesson’s educational purpose improve pupils’ personal qualities like behavior, education etc. to raise awareness of personal character and skills. -Students learn and talk about different hobbies and sports Developing; -According to the lesson’s educational purpose develop pupils’ creativity - improve their speaking about hobbies Socio-cultural: -to raise awareness of talking about hobbies - to enhance pupils’ vocabulary about hobbies Learning outcomes: -At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to talk about positive and negative skills for learning and creating a learning atmosphere : to create personal profiles. Type of the lesson: -non-standard, mixed Method of the lesson: -Group work, pair work, individual Equipment: -Guess what 3th student’s book, workbook, blackboard, chalk , handouts, photos, laptop, TV, crayons. Beginning stage: Greeting and checking the attendance of students Teacher asks pupils what the date is and receives answers , corrects if they respond incorrectly. Afterwards teacher may ask other daily questions such as about weather, news or anything else. For example, “What is the weather like today?” “Did you do your homework yesterday?” “What did you do at weekends?” “What’s the news?” “Are you ready for the lesson?” etc. Then teacher checks the attendance of the pupils. After it, teacher tries to recall the previous theme. It may be done in various ways, such as by having an activity related to the last topic , or just by asking What did we discuss with you last time? It depends on teacher how to make it interesting to consolidate the past theme. Main part: 1. To check the homework 2. To revise the previous theme 3. To explain the new theme and strengthen it.
