The role of parallel corpora in the improve-
ment of artificial intelligence

Abstract
The article describes artificial intelligence as the biggest product 
of the information age. It is noted that artificial intelligence is widely used 
in all social spheres, and examples of the manifestations of artificial intel-
ligence are given.
It was noted that the capabilities of artificial intelligence are lim-
ited, and its database and performance quality will continue to improve. 
The corpus of parallel texts has been evaluated as a factor improving the 
capabilities of artificial intelligence. In the section of world languages, ex-
isting parallel corpora are described, the types of parallel corpus, their im-
portance in the process of education and translation are shown. The role 
of complex construction, stable combination, phraseology in translation is 
explained.
