JEMALDIN YANDIYEV – THE THINKER, POET AND TRANSLATOR. The article attempts to study the achievements of Russian 
scientists who study a problem of translation activity of national poets and writers and, in particular, J. Yandiyev. The work analyzes 
the development and confirmation of the fundamental idea of the thematic and stylistic connection of the translated originals in the 
transposition of J. Yandiyev into the Ingush language. The periodicalization of the Yandiyev translation activity and the artistic specific-
ity of Yandiyev’s translations are subject to analysis, due to the peculiarities of aesthetics, poetics and style of Yandiyev, the poet. For 
research, the field of theory of literary translation is selected through the scientific works of poets and literary scholars of our country. 
The main part of the research is an analysis of J. Yandiyev’s translations in comparison with the original.
