MOSHUR DARVOZASI (Eng. Mashur Gate) – It is one of the gates of the city Kandahar.

MOH – It is a Persian word used in two meanings. 1) Full moon, in Babur’s lyrics used for “beloved” as poetical epithet. 2) see. Taqvim (Calendar).
Mohazar – Persian word for “in hands, what one has” [“B”, on folio 84 b].
MOHIM BEGIM (Eng. Mahim Begim) - Name of Babur’s most beloved wife. She was married to Babur in 1506 and had five children. Humayun, Barbul, Mihrjahan Begim, Esan Daulat begim, Foruq. But last four children died in their childhood. She adopted Hindal, a son of Dildar Begim in order not to leave Humayun for the crown in 1519. She brought up Hindal since his first days. Also, she adopted and brought up Gulbadan Begim when she was only two years of her birth. Mahim Begim always lived in Kabul, but in 1528 she moved to Agra taking Gulbadan begim with her. And she accompanied Babur in his illness. After the death of her husband, he ordered to build a room where she spread donations for poor people every day.

MOHURA SINGIRI (Eng. Sangur of Mahura) –It is a name of the village where lived tribe of Yusufzai. There was noted that the village was surrounded with stone fence all around in Baburnama [“B”, on folio 21 a]
MOHCHUCHUK BEGIM (Eng. Mah-chuchuk Begim) – I. She was a daughter of Mirza Muhammad Muqim Arghun and Zarifa Hatun. She was also called as “Kwajibegim”. Mah-chuchuk Begim got married to Shakh Hasan Arghun and had one daughter called Mah-chuchuk as her mother. Later she got married to Qasimbek, who was “kukaldash” of Babur [“B”, on folio 214 b]. She had again one daughter called Nahid Begim from Qasimbek [“H”, on folio 4a]. After the death of Qasimbek Kukaldash she married to Isa Tarkhan, ruler of Tatta and Sind provinces. After the death of Isa Tarkhan, she was arrested and put to prison until her death of starvation by the order Muhammad Muqim Tarkhan, her step son.
II. Name of Babur’s daughter-in-law. Her brothers Bairam Ughlan and Faridun Kabuli were most honourable nobles in Babur’s palace. Mah-chuchuk Begim got married to Humayun in 1546 and had children by names: Hakim Mirza, Farrukh Mirza, Bahtinisa begim, Sakina Banu, Amina Banu and Fahrinniso Begim[“H”, on folio 71 a, b]. She was executed in 1564 by the order of Abulmaoli, her own son-in-law, Fahrinnisa’s husband.
III. Name of Babur’s daughter-in-law. She was wife of Kamran. She was a daughter of Shakh Hasan Arghun and Mahchuchuk Begim. Kamran married her in 1546. Soon after the wedding Kamran was taken out his eyes and sent to Mecca for Pilgrimage. His wife also went with him and died there.
