“Great expectation”
Conclusion.
In general, it is obvious that I would like to say the following about Charles Dickens and his story “The Great Expectation". He was a simple man; he loved ordinary people from the lower classes. He did not evaluate them by their education, job, or economic status. That is why many of the heroes of his novels, and especially the "Great Expectoration", were poor, pathetic people who earned their living with difficulty, but honestly. He believed in a better future. This optimism can be traced in most of his creative works. Capitalist society did not appeal to him because he wanted people from the lower classes to live less unhappy, less hungry, less offended. Reading Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, we encounter problems such as social class. Many characters were treated differently because of their social class in "High Expectations". Observing the contrast between how the poor and the rich were treated will give a clearer idea of how important social class is. He was a realist writer and showed a real picture of life with all its good and bad sides, but the humor, the elated mood of these stories make us believe in a happy, joyful future. The vitality of Dickens' works is extraordinarily great. They are written in hot human blood. They are popular in the highest sense of the word, because their appeal is universal, both for ordinary and educated people. The humor is excellent, and most of it, as far as can be judged, is not ephemeral. The pathos is more doubtful, but this is also in its simplest and best form; and especially when humor is removed with his help - worthy of a better epithet than excellent. This is extremely touching. Imagination, imagination, wit, eloquence, the keenest observation, the most intense desire to achieve the highest artistic perfection, the greatest kindness - all this he brought to the work of his life. And this work, I think, will live on, it can be a prophecy forever. I choose "Great Expectations from Charles Dickens" for the reasons I have given below. The conclusion is a sign that a person's clothing style belongs to a class society. The style of clothing with its simplicity is the style of the upper strata of society with its extravagance and the style of the idol with its glamour, as can be seen from Estella's statement on Pip. It follows from the above discussion that some ideologies that go beyond the style of clothing of the characters in the novel are a revolt against the owners of the capital's culture and their domination. 2. The novel "The Great Expectation" is a picture of real life during the reign of Queen Victoria, where social gaps are very real. In fact, in the time of Queen Victoria, the economic imbalances were obvious. One of the reasons is the industrial Revolution. At that time, many people hoped that their economic situation would improve. “My trust in the people who rule is negligible. My trust in the people who are being managed is boundless.” Download 64.68 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
