THE EFFECT OF THE PROCESS OF SECULARIZATION ON
MUSLIM COMMUNITIES
Annotation. This article analyzes in chronological order the emergence
of the term "secular" in the societies of Eastern Muslim countries in the
twentieth century, the reflection of the norms of secular life in public
administration and its interpretation by various segments. In addition, a
comparative analysis of the description of the secular process in Muslim
societies by representatives of various fields and its views on its impact on
social consciousness. The role of various views and interpretations of the
secularization process in the governance of the state and society has been
studied.
The article also reveals the modernization of traditional societies under
the influence of the process of secularization and the attitude of Muslim
scholars to modern human rights and freedoms.

Àííîòàöèÿ. Â ñòàòüå àíàëèçèðóåòñÿ â õðîíîëîãè÷åñêîì ïîðÿäêå ïî-
ÿâëåíèå òåðìèíà «ñåêóëÿð» â îáùåñòâàõ âîñòî÷íî-ìóñóëüìàíñêèõ ñòðàí
â ÕÕ âåêå, îòðàæåíèå íîðì ñâåòñêîé æèçíè â ãîñóäàðñòâåííîì óï-
ðàâëåíèè è åãî èíòåðïðåòàöèÿ ðàçëè÷íûìè ñåãìåíòàìè. Êðîìå òîãî,
ïðîâåäåí ñðàâíèòåëüíûé àíàëèç îïèñàíèÿ ñâåòñêîãî ïðîöåññà â ìó-
ñóëüìàíñêèõ îáùåñòâàõ ïðåäñòàâèòåëÿìè ðàçëè÷íûõ ñôåð è åãî âçãëÿ-
äîâ íà åãî âëèÿíèå íà îáùåñòâåííîå ñîçíàíèå. Èçó÷åíà ðîëü ðàçëè÷-
íûõ âçãëÿäîâ è èíòåðïðåòàöèé ïðîöåññà ñåêóëÿðèçàöèè â óïðàâëåíèè
ãîñóäàðñòâîì è îáùåñòâîì.

ó÷åíûõ ê ñîâðåìåííûì ïðàâàì è ñâîáîäàì ÷åëîâåêà.
