Each method has its own characterization. Key words: method, preschool, age, practical, activity. Teaching methods consist of various combinations of systems of methods depending on the specific features of the subject, specific didactic tasks, tools and educational conditions. The nervous system and the whole organism of a preschool child is extremely susceptible to plastic and external influences. Therefore, one of the important tasks of the educator should be the correct ratio of time spent on mental and physical exertion and subsequent rest when training with children of preschool age. The following methods are used in the education of children of preschool age, taking into account their age characteristics and abilities. 1. demonstration method 2. Oral method 3. Practical method 4. Game method 5. competition method demonstrative method provides the brightness of sensory perception and movement sensations. They are necessary for the formation of a very complete and clear picture of the movement, which activates the development of sensory abilities in children. Oral method is aimed at the minds of children, the conscious performance of movement exercises, which play an important role in understanding the tasks and the content and structure of the exercises, helps to use these exercises independently in different situations. The practical method is related to the practical activity of children and provides practical verification of the correct perception of movements in their independent senses. Practical methods are characterized by the use of exercises in the form of games, elements of competition. One of the different types of practical method is the game method. The play method is effective way of working with children, taking into account the elements of visual image and visual practical thinking. It allows you to simultaneously improve different movement skills, independence of movements, quick response to changing conditions, show creative activity. The competition method can be used in the education of preschool children only in the context of pedagogical guidance. This method can be used in elder groups. competitiveness is a prerequisite for the competition, which is based on the strength of children, the development of moral and volitional qualities, as well as the correct assessment of their own achievements and the achievements of other children in a conscious attitude to the audience. The method of competition is of great importance in cultivating the will and moral qualities such as initiative, perseverance, literacy, courage, bravery, nobility, friendship. however, it should be borne in mind that competing for the first place, the struggle can allow to find the content of negative qualities (selfishness, jealousy, rudeness ..). In the pedagogical process, teaching methods are used in combination[1]. In short, the importance of pedagogical methods is very great for children of preschool age. because at the present time the role of specific educational methods in the education of children of preschool age is relevant.
