Physiotherapy in stomatology (1)
3. Laser therapy - use of electromagnetic waves radiated by quantum generators. The helium-neon laser radiation is most often
applied. It has the following effects: - anti-inflammatory - anesthetizing - thrombolytic - stimulates metabolism - stimulates oxidation-reduction processes in tissues - stimulates regeneration processes - activates the factors of local and general immune protection. In stomatology the УЛФ-01 device is used. The defining principle of laser therapy is the correct choice of radiation capacity at various stages of pathological process. At gingivitis interdental papillae are irradiated, at parodontitis – parts of gingiva in projection of pathological pockets. After the laser therapy at hypertrophic gingivitis treatment, parodont is greased with a photosensitizer - 2-5 % methylene blue, for prevention of its proliferative activity. V. Ultrasound Therapy - application of mechanical fluctuations of elastic environment of frequency from 800 kHz to 3MHz and of intensity of 0,005-0,4Wt/sm.sq.hr for medical purposes. The ultrasound has the following effects: - anti-inflammatory - anaesthetizing - resorptive - desensitizing It is also possible to enter medicinal substances into tissues by ultrasound therapy – ultraphonophoresis (phonophoresis). The devices «УЗТ 1.02С», «ЛОР-3», «Ultrasound Т-5», with a set of vibrators of ultrasonic fluctuations, is used for ultrasound therapy. The ultrasound is reflected by air, therefore its influence on tissues is carried out through the contact environment - apricot or peach oil. The ultrasound stimulates metabolism, activity of enzymes, increases permeability of the membrane, releasing BAS. It is used at inflammatory diseases of the MFA, at hems, at parodontosis, at cheilitis, at glossitis, at neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve. Ultrasonic fluctuations of 0.8-20MHz can be used for diagnostics of the parodont bone tissue defeat - bioecholocation. It is a lifetime method of studying the bone tissue structure, which allows estimating its density. Ultrasound is also used for tooth calculi and plaque removal. VI. Vacuum therapy – the aim is formation of hematomas under the influence of low pressure (to 40mm.m.c.). The damage of tissues and formation of hematomas leads to activation of physiological processes, which are directed on liquidation of the arisen locus. While resolving, hematomas operate as biogenic stimulators, stimulating trophy and regenerative processes. Vacuum therapy is applied in massage form, for formation of hematomas at parodontosis, chronic catarrhal and hypertrophic gingivitis, etc. The device ALP is used for vacuum therapy, which is equipped with hollow tubes of various diameters. This device is also used at Kulajenko’s test for definition of parodont capillaries stability to vacuum influence. VII. Hydrotherapy – this is the irrigation of the oral cavity from special devices with various water solutions, under the pressure of 1.5- 2.0 atm. Under the influence of hydrotherapy the receptors and the capillary of the OCMM are irritated, and the aerosol effect of the applied preparations is shown. It is possible to apply tinctures and broths of herbs (sage, chamomile, kalanchoe and eucalypt), water, saturated with Carbonic acid, oxygen, solutions of Furacillinum, and hydrogen peroxides for hydrotherapy. For irrigation special tips are used - hollow tubes, bent on an arch, with small apertures. Four types of hydrotherapy are used - Cool (20 о С) - Indifferent (35-36 о С) - Hot (38-40 о С) - Contrast procedures (cool-hot). Hydrotherapy is used at chronic gingivitis, parodontosis, CRAS, etc. VIII. Massage - the mechanical excitement of tissues, used for medical purposes. Download 0.52 Mb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
