4.2.6.1. Users of transmission grid should secure conditions during regular operation of their 
facilities in such a way that the reactive and active power ration absorbed from the 
transmission grid in the connection/inter-connection point is below 0.33 at each 15 min 
interval, with the measuring system registering interchange of reactive and active energy 
except for the points where generation units are connected in accordance with the Grid Code 
and section 4.3.7.

4.2.7.1. Current asymmetry  
4.2.7.1.1. The current asymmetry caused by the facility of transmission system user must not 
exceed: 
- 2% if the facility is connected/inter-connected to the 110 kV grid; 
- 1.4% if the facility is connected to the 220 kV grid. 

0.8% if the facility is connected to the 400 kVgrid. 
4.2.7.1.2. Exceptionally, for facilities connected to the 110 kV grid supplying the railways (so 
called electro-traction substation) the JSC EMS may, in its Technical Conditions for 
Connecting to the Grid, require current asymmetry higher than 2% provided that this does not 
hinder access of other users to the transmission system, i.e. that it does not violate the 
preconditions for normal operation of the power system.

4.2.7.2. Higher harmonics 
4.2.7.2.1. The higher harmonic currents generated by the facility of transmission system user 
at its connecting point in 110 kV and 220 kV grids must not exceed values:
