13. What do you know about Uzbek culture?
Uzbek culture evolved blending various customs and traditions of the nations who inhabited the territory of today's Uzbekistan. The main contribution to the development of Uzbek culture was the ancient Iranians, nomad Turkic tribes, Arabs, Chinese, and eventually Russians. 14.Have you noticed any cultural dimensions fromthe film? The relationship between movies and culture involves a complicated dynamic; while American movies certainly influence the mass culture that consumes them, they are also an integral part of that culture, a product of it, and therefore a reflection of prevailing concerns, attitudes, and beliefs. In considering the relationship between film and culture, it is important to keep in mind that, while certain ideologies may be prevalent in a given era, not only is American culture as diverse as the populations that form it, but it is also constantly changing from one period to the next. Mainstream films produced in the late 1940s and into the 1950s, for example, reflected the conservatism that dominated the sociopolitical arenas of the time. However, by the 1960s, a reactionary youth culture began to emerge in opposition to the dominant institutions, and these antiestablishment views soon found their way onto the screen—a far cry from the attitudes most commonly represented only a few years earlier. 15. What is artifacts and it's connection with culture? A cultural artifact, or cultural artefact (see American and British English spelling differences), is a term used in the social sciences, particularly anthropology, ethnology and sociology for anything created by humans which gives information about the culture of its creator and users. 16. What are connection of customs and traditions in culture? Culture is a word that has many meanings, depending on the context in which it is used. In general, though, culture refers to the intellectual and moral qualities typical of a particular society or era. This includes, for example, art, literature, music, and philosophy. It can also refer to the way people behave toward each other, including their values and morals. Culture is often seen as something that distinguishes humans from other animals, and is thought to be one of the things that make us unique as a species. One of the most important aspects of culture is its ability to change over time. New ideas and beliefs can emerge and spread quickly through a society, shaping the way people think and behave. This can be seen in the way different cultures have developed over the centuries, each with its customs and traditions. Culture also plays an important role in defining who we are as individuals. Our cultural background influences the way we see the world, and it can determine our values and beliefs. That’s why it’s often said that culture means identity. It helps us understand where we come from and gives us a sense of belonging to a particular group or community. While culture is an important part of our lives, it can also be a source of conflict. In some cases, different cultures may clash, causing tension and hostility. This can be the case in religious or ethnic conflicts, or when different social groups compete for resources. Despite these challenges, culture remains one of the most important aspects of human existence. It helps us understand who we are and where we come from, and it gives us a sense of belonging to a particular community or group. Download 24.18 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
