General - textual emotive meanings
The conditions of their existence are a complete text. The conductor of these meanings is primarily emotive vocabulary. As mentioned earlier, phrasal and fragmentary emotive meanings are also born by emotive vocabulary that affects the context and is concretized in it. In the case of textual emotive meanings, the interaction of textual and lexical semantics is different: the role and influence of general textual semantics increases, fertilizing and enriching the semantics of individual words, which as a result include new meanings in their lexical semantics and acquire the status of key units. Simultaneously, symbolization and concretization of lexical semantics are observed: the word is both generalized in the text and concretized by the text.
Thus, the main methods of textual promotion of the most important elements of the content of the text are the repetition of the meaning and means denoting it, on the one hand, and the use of nomination means, on the other. Let's turn to the specific text. In the story "The Suffering of Young Vaganov" V.M. Shukshin, the emotive meaning of “suffering”, which characterizes the psychology of the main character, has a key aesthetic significance. This meaning is placed in a strong position of the text - in the title, which focuses the reader's attention on it, focuses on the perception of the emotive content of a certain tone. The entire subsequent text of the story is an artistic-figurative concretization of the emotive semantics of the title.
In the text, there is a dynamic formation of the meaning of "suffering", its culmination is the phrase: It, however, was like grief - this uncertainty. It was the first time in his life that Vaganov became so shrill... ... There was no one here whom he would not be ashamed to tell about his torments and whom he would believe (V.M. Shukshin). Numerous lexical signals of the emotive meaning "suffering" (torment, painfully, suffer, grief, freak out, get nervous, grow up in the meaning of "suffer") are conjugated in the text with the emotive meanings "fear", "doubt", love, "anger", " hope".
