Goal: To maintain and upgrade the system developed in Project 1 to
include more detailed client data, incorporate user friendly data entry
forms and automatic queries so that regulatory reporting requirements
could be met more efficiently on a monthly, quarterly, and annual
basis
Key Data: individual and aggregate client data including services
used, dates of use
Biggest Challenge: Ensuring correct data was captured to meet
regulatory reporting requirements.
Database Project 3
(Local Not-For-Profit)
Goal: To develop a fixed asset tracking system to account for all
donated fixed assets in accordance with Department of Housing and
Urban Development grant requirements.
Key Data: asset identification numbers, acquisition date for donated
and purchased assets, description, donation site, fair value, date
retired, asset classification, sales price, transfer date and location of
transfer, as applicable
Biggest Challenge: Developing the proper forms and reports to
create an adequate paper trail for management and auditors so that
donated and purchased assets could be tracked by date, location, type
of asset, and other factors.
