The role of independent education in teaching foreign languages Erkinov Jamshid

2.3. Independent education methods
Bowen, a research scientist, presented his conclusions about independent learning methods after long-term research. According to him, there are 5 main forms of methods that help people learn a foreign language independently:
- Vocabulary-based approach, learning words by reading pictures, specific topics.
- Bilateral translation is a method that involves reading books and dictionaries and then rewriting the translations.
- A grammar-based approach is memorizing grammar and doing practice exercises.
- Communicative approach is communication with foreigners, friends and others.
- The immersion method consists of listening to music, listening to the radio, watching TV programs, movies, traveling, etc.
It is possible to organize independent education with positive results only by using the above methods wisely.

CONCLUSION
Independent education helps a person to regularly work on himself, to supplement the acquired knowledge, to remember them, and to apply them in practice. If a person always works on himself, if he constantly strives to increase his potential, it will definitely bear fruit. It is possible to achieve the expected result if independent education is carried out in harmony with other forms of education, following its own standard levels.
Self education without setting the standard level, can be ineffective and a waste of time. For this purpose, it is advisable for language learners to first acquire theoretical knowledge, and after the lesson to test this knowledge in practice.
In order to speak a language perfectly, to become fluent, you need to constantly search for yourself. Results can be achieved through independent study. Many young language learners, especially Bekzod Mirakhmedov, who scored above 9 points in the IELTS test, emphasized that it is necessary to devote time to independent research and language learning. He worked tirelessly and studied independently until he got 9 points in IELTS. In conclusion, it can be said that the more a person works on himself, the better the result. If he does not work on himself and learn independently, the result may not be as expected.
