1.1. Descriptive Report
I am Kayumova Iroda. I had practice at school number 5, in Taylak destrict, Samarkand region. I was given 9th grade pupil during my practice. This was a complicated and exciting period of my life because in the beginning I was so afraid and thought that “they are already 9th grade pupil” For this reason I had no idea what and how to teach them because with little mistake can harm them hugely. However, then I remembered my teachers advises and knowledge and they will help me to teach effectively. While practical process, I have gained plethora number of extremely useful experiences and I practiced my knowledge that these will very helpful during my future career.
Our practical process was divided into 2 parts passive practice and active practice. During the passive practice I watched English teachers’ lessons with great enthusiasm and interest. During the active practice I tried to use various teaching methods such as direct method or grammar translation method because my pupils already had enough knowledge in English furthermore I showed them different motivational videos which are really helpful to keep them motivated and to choose their future jobs. Additionally, I must confuse that at the beginning the main problem I had faced was time management, due to the fact that I used to study 80 min but at school lessons 45 min. For this reason in my first lessons I made some mistakes but then with the help of my teachers I could correct them. Furthermore, if I did some small mistakes my teachers and my groupmates would correct them and give me some feedbacks in order not to repeat them
Huge sum up, the observation results of the teaching practice showed that teacher must be highly educated and smart, eager to innovation in other case she cannot make pupils obey and listen to him/her. So, if you want to be the best teacher, you should be acknowledged, motivated, polite kind, patient and love to teach children and only in this case you can succeed, achieve your goals.
