INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis)
The aim of the research is to develop a mathematical model for the dynamic calculation of non-stationary, physically nonlinear torsional vibrations of circular cylindrical elastic shells and rods under the influence of external dynamic loads; creation of an algorithm for determining displacement and stress fields at points of arbitrary cross-section of a cylindrical shell and a rod; application of the developed model for calculating the stress-strain state of the systems under consideration.
The object of the research is a circular cylindrical elastic shell and a rod.
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows:
a mathematical model of dynamic calculation of nonstationary, physically nonlinear torsional vibrations of circular cylindrical elastic shells and rods under the influence of external dynamic loads has been developed;
an algorithm has been developed for determining the stress-strain state of points of arbitrary cross-section of circular cylindrical elastic shells and rods at points of arbitrary cross-section by longitudinal coordinate and time;
new applied problems on physically nonlinear torsional vibrations of circular cylindrical shells and rods exposed to dynamic loads are posed and appropriate calculation methods are developed;
methods have been developed for solving problems of non-stationary, physically nonlinear torsional vibrations of a round rod and a cylindrical shell under the action of combined loads caused by end and surface forces;
the influence of physical nonlinearity characteristics on the laws of dependence on coordinates and time of nonzero tangential stresses and torsional displacement at any point of the cross-section of the system under consideration is studied by the example of problems on torsional vibrations of a round rod and a cylindrical shell.
