IV. Telephonic Communication
: Telephonic communication is another major source of communication in today's society. With the inven-
tion of the telephone, communication between individuals became more efficient and faster. Telephonic
communication allows people to converse with each other over long distances, making it possible to keep
in touch with loved ones who may be far away. In today's fast-paced world, the importance of telephonic
communication cannot be overstated. It allows us to connect with clients, colleagues, and friends in a
matter of seconds, making it an integral part of our daily lives. Telephones have evolved over the years to
become more sophisticated, with the introduction of smartphones, which allow us to browse the internet,
send messages, and even video call, making telephonic communication even more versatile than ever
before. Additionally, telephonic communication plays a crucial role in emergency situations, allowing
individuals to call for help and receive assistance quickly.

A. Definition of telephonic communication
Telephonic communication refers to any form of communication that takes place over the telephone.
The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876 and has since become one of the
most essential modes of communication around the world. Telephonic communication can take various
forms, including voice calls, video calls, messages sent through SMS or messaging apps, and facsimile
transmissions. All of these methods allow people to communicate instantly with one another, regardless
of their location, making the telephone an incredibly powerful tool in today's world. Additionally,
telephonic communication is typically more personal than other forms of communication, such as email
or social media messaging, because it allows people to hear each other's voices and see each other's facial
expressions. Telephonic communication has revolutionized the way we interact with each other, making
it easier than ever to stay connected with our loved ones and colleagues, no matter how far apart we may
be.
