For a long time, testers of high-speed aircraft faced the phenomenon of 
shaking - the most powerful vibration. It could be avoided due to the thickening of 
the leading edge of the plane's wings. It turns out that nature has already 
developed a ready-made engineering solution to this problem - there is a similar 
thickening in the wings of dragonflies. 
The dragonfly "inspired" designers to create a helicopter. 
He must use a live dragonfly as a drone. A "backpack" is attached to its back 
with a control system and solar panels for energy. In this way, it will be possible to 
control the insects and direct them to better pollinate the crops. Using them to track 
a person is not excluded.

echolocation. It allows you to study the topography of the seabed, search for sunken 
ships, find places where commercial fish gather, etc. It was even possible to design a 
cane for blind people, in which an ultrasound source and receiver were installed,

mysterious organs (halter), scientists created a very important navigation device 
based on this principle - a vibrating gyroscope.

allow you to take multiple images of the same object at the same time. This allows 
you to determine its speed with great accuracy. According to this principle, 
scientists created a device and called it the "eye of the fly". Now it is used to 
determine the speed of airplanes.

their color to suit the environment has been used in the development of the 
material - chameleon. The electric pulses applied to it make it possible to create an 
incorrect image. Military equipment covered with such material becomes invisible 
to drones as it merges with the ground.
