THE ROLE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING
PEDIATRIC SUBJECTS

Modern training infrastructure, which includes information,
technological,
organizational and communication components, allows you to effectively use the
benefits of innovative forms of education. The introduction
of information and
communication technologies in the content of the educational process involves the
integration of various areas of medicine, which leads to improved learning of
educational material for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Awareness of the
emerging trends in the department’s computerization process is essential: from
mastering medical students of basic information about
the structure of the body
and using knowledge in studying clinical disciplines, and then to saturating with
new information the structure
and content of classes, implementing a radical
restructuring of the entire educational process based on the use of new
technologies. This direction is implemented through
the inclusion in the
curriculum of new curricula aimed at the study of medical disciplines. Such a
program is the integrated management of childhood diseases (IMCI), created with
the participation of WHO.
Purpose. To study the effectiveness of introducing the IMCI program into
the educational process.
