Get the job done. Yellow and green peas were mixed with each other. What is the color of the grain of peas formed by mixing at F 1 and G 2 ?
Solution. It is known from Mendel's experiments that in peas the yellow gene is dominant and the green gene is recessive. Consequently, the genotype of the yellow pea (if we denote the dominant gene by S, the recessive by s ) may be SS or Ss. The genotype of the green pea is - ss. In terms of the problem, there may be two different solutions, since the yellow pea is not shown to be homozygous or heterozygous. In the first case, the yellow pea is obtained as homozygous (SS), in the second case as heterozygous (Ss). 1. In the first case: SS - genotype of yellow peas, ss is the genotype of green peas. We write the configuration scheme: SS x ss Gametes S s Gafur 1 Ss Gafur 1 2 generations of cross-breeding G.Ibragimov come from.
