Issues to be solved independently
1. Corn captures two non-allelic dominant genes in the genotype of normal-sized plants . Two dwarf makkajuxori plant breeding F normal height. In F , 812 normal and 640 low-growing plants were obtained. Identify the type of gene interaction in this confusion.
2. The dominance of the A gene determines the blackness of the grain in oats, and the dominant B gene determines the gray. A- epistatic gene.
What can be the color of the grain in the following genotypes ?
a) aaBb; b) aabb; v) Aabb; g) AaBb; d) AABb; e) aaBB; j) AaBB.
3. When plants grown from two gray grains are mixed, gray and white grains are formed in a 3: 1 ratio. Determine the genotype of the parent forms.
4. Plants formed from black frost were cross- pollinated. black, gray, and white grains are formed in a 12: 3: 1 ratio. To determine the genotype of plants obtained for this hybridization and the type of interaction of genes.
5. The dominance of the A gene determines the blackness of the grain in the oats, and the dominant B gene determines the grayness. When gene A has an epistatic effect, gene B loses. So the following: aaVV, aaVv, aavv, Aavv, AaVv, AAVv Determine the grain color of plants with the genotype?

13- LABORATORY WORK.

Topic: Polymer effects of genes

The purpose of the work. It is the study of how a single trait changes under the influence of multiple genes.
The content of the work. The same effect of several non-allelic genes on the development of a single trait is called the polymer effect of genes . 2 or more enzymes formed under the control of non-allelic genes influence the development of a trait and enhance its emergence.
The polymer phenomenon was first identified in the experiment of Swedish geneticist and breeder Nilson-Ele. Valuable economic traits of plants and animals have been proven to be passed on to offspring in essentially the same order . Season , plant height, long, short, the amount of grain protein, fruits contain vitamins, animals daily amount of milk, milk fat , the amount of black (or any animal) weight, the number of eggs in the chicken for 1 year.
The polymer is usually a few genes affect the character with the same letters so they are determined by different alleles of numbers. Example: If there are two pairs of polymer genes in the genotype , A1A1A2A2 is heterozygous for two genes , A1a1A2a2, if the recessive homozygous form for these genes is a1a1a2a2.
The generation of polymer characters has been studied in the experiment of crossbreeding of dark red - A1A1A2A2 and white grain a1a1a2a2 wheat varieties . In practice, the phenotype of hybrids in the F generation produces a 15: 1 ratio separation, i.e., 15/16 part varies from dark red to light red , and 1/16 part forms white grain. Genetic analysis of F generation shows that only plants germinated from red and white frost do not give separation. But plants that produce intermediate colored grains will separate in the next generation.
The above confusion can be written as follows:
dark red grain white grain
X a 2
gametes A 2
red
generation is obtained by self-pollination of F hybrid plants :
x A 2
, A , a , a , A , a , a 2
