INTRODUCTION (abstract of the PhD dissertation)
The aim of the research is to draw up suggestions and recommendations for improving the system of forming axiological consciousness in pupils through folklore.
The tasks of the research are:
revealing the psychological-pedagogical features and determining the factors of forming axiological consciousness in pupils by illuminating the content and essence of axiological consciousness;
developing a pedagogical model of formation of axiological consciousness in pupils by means of folklore;
creating a system of effective diagnostic means for diagnosing the formation of axiological consciousness in pupils;
developing a technology for the formation of axiological consciousness in pupils through extracurricular activities and determining its effectiveness.
The object of the research was the process of forming axiological consciousness in pupils by means of folklore, which involved in experiments 415 pupils studying at Grades 9-10 of secondary schools in Surkhandarya (3rd, 4th, 16th and 18th secondary schools in Kumkurgan and Shorchi districts), Bukhara (6th and 10th secondary schools in Bukhara city) and Tashkent regions (2nd and 15th secondary schools in Chirchik city).
Scientific novelty of the research is as follows:
The motivational (axiological interest, axiological need), emotional-cognitive (axiological knowledge, axiological realization and understanding), axiological behaviour (axiological orientation, axiological potential), axiological assessment (axiological attitude, axiological worldview) components of the process of forming axiological consciousness in pupils have been identified;
The psychological-pedagogical features of forming axiological consciousness in pupils, as well as the conformity of personal approaches related to interiorization and exteriorization of values, value-based guidelines and value-based choice, have been determined by ensuring the stability of the level of influence of macro, meso and micro factors;
A pedagogical model of forming axiological consciousness in pupils has been developed by taking into account the axiopedagogical characteristics of the examples of folklore, as well as on the basis of systematic, technological, activity-based and collaborative teaching, hermeneutic approaches in relation to the educational process and the possibilities of teaching the subject “Upbringing”;
A local-modular technology of forming axiological consciousness in pupils has been developed by ensuring the coherence of educational, upbringing, developmental and competence-based lessons and extracurricular activities, as well as the internal integration with motivational, diagnostic, pithy, organizational, activity-based, resultative and evaluative components.
