  1. PHONETICS AS A BRANCH OF LINGUSITICS

Phonetics (from the Greek
means science) is (sounds, syllables, stress and intonation). Linguistic form and content are characterized by other branches of linguistics, namely grammar (morphology
and syntax), lexicology (vocabulary or vocabulary, sentence formation and
meanings) and stylistics (expressive-emotional meanings). In modern linguistics, the definition of phonetics as the study of the sounds of languages is not enough. Currently, phonetics is a branch of science or linguistics that studies the articulatory-acoustic and perceptual properties of the language. It is speech sounds, syllables, accents and linguistic expressed in intonation related to expression. Phonetics deals with speech. Phonetics has great theoretical and practical importance. Theoretical It is important to study the formation of speech sounds, their combinations, syllables, stress and intonation. If we approach the study of pronunciation and listening, we can see some scientific similarities and big differences between the words recorded with pen and paper or tape recorder. Language consists of a series of physical phenomena. Sound waves are produced as a result of the speech organs and are received through the ear. There is a conversion of muscle energy into acoustic energy. But articulatory and auditory (listening) control of this conversion is not a common property. Speech is perceived, observed, collected and classified by millions of sets of human senses and nervous systems. The classification of various discourses and their division into smaller and higher elements requires theoretical, scientific foundations - principles and methods.
