On time – bu biror ish harakatni belgilangan payitda ya’ni o’z vaqtida sodir bo’lishini ifodalash uchun ishlatiladi. Odatda belgilangan vaqt ko’rsatib qo’yiladi
The 11.45 train left on time.
In time- bu biror ish harakatni belgilangan vaqtidan biroz oldinroq sodir etilishini ifodalashda ishlatiladi.
I must hurry. I want to get home in time to see the football match on TV.
