Bo'ron - Bu Uilyam Shekspirning pyesasi, ehtimol 1610-1611 yillarda yozilgan va u yolg'iz yozgan so'nggi pyesalardan biri deb hisoblangan. Bo'ron paytida dengizda kemada bo'lib o'tadigan birinchi sahnadan so'ng, hikoyaning qolgan qismi chekka orolga o'rnatiladi. Bu yerda murakkab va ziddiyatli xarakterga ega Prospero qizi Miranda bilan yashaydi. Uning ikki xizmatkori: vahshiy maxluq figura va havorang ruhga ega Ariel. Oʻyinda orolda sehr-joʻsh uradigan musiqa va qoʻshiqlar mavjud. Unda koʻplab mavzular, jumladan, sehr, xiyonat, qasos va oila oʻrganiladi. IV-aktsiyada to'y maslagi o'yin ichidagi o'yin bo'lib xizmat qiladi, spektakl, allegoriya, yuksak tilni o'z hissasini qo'shadi. Garchi The Tempest Shekspir komediyalarining birinchisi sifatida Birinchi Folioda ro'yxatga olingan bo'lsa-da, u ham fojiali, ham komik mavzular bilan shug'ullanadi. Zamonaviy tanqid Shekspirning kech pyesalarining bu va boshqalar uchun romantika kategoriyasini yaratdi. Bo'ron turli talqinlarga qo'yildi, buni san'at va ijod ertaki deb bilgan [iqtibos] dan tortib, Prospero Shekspirni ifodalaydi. Prosperoning sehrdan voz kechishi Shekspirning sahnaga xayrlashuvini bildiradi, uni chet el yerlarini mustamlaka qiluvchi yevropaliklarning allegoriyasi deb hisoblaydigan talqinlar[iqtiboslar[iqtiboslar]gacha. Escaping by boat with his infant daughter Miranda, Prospero had fled to an island where he has been living ever since, using his magical powers to keep the island's only inhabitant, Caliban, as a slave, and a local spirit Ariel as a servant. When a ship carrying his brother Antonio passes nearby, Prospero conjures up a storm using the help of Ariel and the ship is destroyed. Antonio is shipwrecked, along with Alonso, Ferdinand (Alonso's son who is heir of the throne), Sebastian (Alonso's brother), Gonzalo (Prospero's trustworthy minister), Adrian and other court members.
