A clear, clear and well-thought-out program of actions is being implemented in the country, and the organizational, legal, practical, consistent and systematic measures taken fully contribute to the implementation of democratic, political and economic reforms, social transformations aimed at creating broad opportunities for the comprehensive realization of the professional, intellectual and spiritual potential of citizens and society as a whole. In conditions when an educated, politically and socially active person with a high level of legal consciousness and culture is assigned the role of the central agent of all transformations, the issues of progressive development of the education system are becoming increasingly important. As the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev rightly noted on this occasion: "success ... We have achieved our rightful place among the modern developed countries of the world, first of all, due to the development of science, education and upbringing in the country, and our competitiveness in these areas."1 Today, in the age of technological progress and globalization, the question of the formation of pedagogical competence in the system of higher professional education is acute. The education system at the present stage of society's development has undergone significant changes. It is the teacher who is the main figure in the implementation of the main innovations. For the successful introduction of innovations into practice and for the implementation of the tasks assigned to them, the teacher must have the necessary level of professionalism and pedagogical competence. Presidential Decree No. UP-5712 of 29.04.2019 approvedConcept for the Development of the public education system until 2030, where the main priority areas of development are: qualitative updating of the content of the continuing education system, creating a system of targeted work with gifted children and talented youth, improving teaching methods, improving the quality of educational services, introducing ICT and innovative projects in the field of public education. In recent years, a number of presidential decrees and resolutions have been adopted that raise the higher education system to a new, higher level, for example, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further develop the higher education system" No. PP-2909 of 20.04.2017; the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to improve the quality of education in higher education institutions and ensuring their active participation in large-scale reforms being implemented in the country " No. PP-3775 of 05.06.2018, etc. Special attention is paid to the issues of reforming the higher education system with an emphasis on improving the level of scientific and pedagogical potential, compliance with modern requirements of educational, methodological and informational support of the educational process. Our research was carried out in accordance with the priority direction of development of science and technology in the republic. Spatial semantics is increasingly becoming an object of study for modern linguists. This is determined by the fact that the category of space is a complex cognitive structure that reflects the experience of human interaction with the world and knowledge about it. It belongs to the categories of the basic level and is formed in the consciousness of the individual in the process of perception and cognition of the surrounding space. At the present stage of development of the science of language, the priority is the anthropological research paradigm, according to which language is defined as one of the main tools for cognizing real reality, the nature of which can be realized only on the basis of studying a person, in particular, on the basis of his ideas about the world.
