Abstraсt
This article presents guidelines for the development of written and 
oral skills of students in the classes of secondary schools with the Uzbek 
language of instruction. The main goal of the article is to develop students' 
written and oral competencies from simple to complex - at each lesson: a) 
increasing the lexical minimum of students; (b) development of skills and 
abilities to use the accumulated vocabulary in the written and oral process. 
This method is recommended, based on the experience of today's Uzbek 
language classes, as one of the most effective ways to ensure positive 
results in the development of students' written and oral skills.
