A.M. Klyoster analyzed the terms of engineering psychology from the thematic groups of psychology terms. In the work, the theoretical and practical foundations of the study of the engineering psychology terminology in German were discussed. A.M. Kloster’s research is devoted to the formation of the terminology of engineering psychology in German. Linguistic features of engineering psychology terminology and. semantic relations between terms, issues of synonomy, antonymy, omonomy are considered.
The Russian scientist G.N. Khaibulina studied the structural-semantic features of terms specific to the direction of studying anxiety in a person in the dissertation. In his research, the scientist divided these terms into 4 thematic groups: 1. Terms expressing situational anxiety. 2. Terms expressing realistic anxiety. 3. Terms expressing neurotic anxiety. 4. Terms expressing mental disturbance
In 1963 Sh. Bayburova and N. Takanayev published “A short Russian-Uzbek dictionary of pedagogy. Of the more than a thousand terms in this dictionary, more than three hundred are psychological terms. Although the dictionary was created 55 years ago, it has not lost its importance. According to E. G’oziyev and L. Tursunov’s work “Psixologiyada mukammal lug’at tuzish xususiyatlari” "K. Turgunov’s book “Psixologiya terminlarining ruscha-o’zbekcha izohli lug’ati” is devoted to psychological concepts and terms. It is the only work for 42 years. In this dictionary many concepts and terms related to the science of psychology are explained. Despite the above research, a single perfect dictionary of psychological terms has not been created in Uzbek psychology. In her research work, G. Ergasheva emphasizes that “one of the factors confirming the complexity of the science of psychology is the uniqueness of its terminological system

CHAPTER II. Thematic groups of psychological terms in English and Uzbek languages.
Psychological terminology can be divided into two parts.
1. The first one is base class. This kind of terminology can be employed to account for most phenomena of human psychology. It is also used in most of psychological subject.
2.The second one is the professional terms, which is used in some special field in psychology. They are abnormal sometimes and only can explain some professional things.
