In world linguistics, especially in comparative and contrastive linguistics, the need to research terms in science and technology, socio-humanitarian, and political fields is increasing. In particular, the emergence of new concepts in the terminology of psychology, new terms that represent them, the research of the terms of psychology in English and Uzbek languages in a contrastive aspect, that is, the synanomic, antonomic, omonomic, paronomic cases of psychology terms in English and Uzbek languages. It is important to carry out scientific research work on the identification of structural relations, such as meaningful omonomic, and the features of creating a dictionary of psychology terms.
In Uzbekistan, psychology terminology is mainly studied within the framework of one language or by comparison between Russian and Uzbek languages, but the terms related to psychology in English and Uzbek have not been studied semantically and structurally.
