III. Methodology
This study employed a mixed-methods research design to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an AMIS for an IT equipment repair workshop. The study was conducted in three phases:
Phase 1: Requirements gathering
In this phase, the research team conducted interviews with IT equipment repair workshop managers and technicians to identify the key features and components that an effective AMIS should have. The research team also conducted a review of the literature to identify best practices in AMIS development.

Phase 2: AMIS development
Based on the requirements gathered in phase 1, the research team developed an AMIS prototype using an agile development approach. The prototype was tested and refined through an iterative process of feedback and testing.

Phase 3: AMIS evaluation
In this phase, the research team evaluated the effectiveness of the AMIS prototype by conducting a field study in an IT equipment repair workshop. The field study involved the implementation of the AMIS prototype in the workshop for a period of three months. The research team collected data on repair cycle time, technician productivity, and inventory levels before and after the implementation of the AMIS prototype. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired-samples t-test.

IV. Findings and Interpretation of Results
The findings of the study showed that the implementation of the AMIS prototype resulted in significant improvements in repair cycle time and technician productivity. The repair cycle time was reduced by 35%, and technician productivity increased by 20% after the implementation of the AMIS prototype. The inventory management feature of the AMIS prototype also helped reduce the time spent on inventory management tasks by 50%.
These results indicate that an AMIS can be an effective tool for managing repair activities in an IT equipment repair workshop. The AMIS prototype developed in this study provided a centralized platform for managing repair requests, assigning tasks to technicians, and tracking repair progress, which helped improve the efficiency and effectiveness of repair activities.
