The purpose of the study: In the researches, the mechanical composition of Kogon District of Bukhara region was carried out in order to improve the melioration condition of lands on heavy, densified and gypsum soils, to ensure the humidity, air, salt and water regime favorable for the growth and development of plants (Table 1). in the 1st variant, deep softening works were carried out in 35 sm layer, In the 3rd variant, up to 80 cm deep softening and plowing up to 35 sm cm layer and in the autumn and winter periods after plowing, saline was washed until the chlorine ion content in the soil reached 0.01%, and in the early spring, observations were made on the cultivation of Bukhara-102 varieties of cotton. Bukhara-102 variety of cotton was planted and observed.
