Conclusion. This study provides evidence of the effectiveness of data analysis as a teaching strategy in middle school mathematics. The study demonstrated that data analysis can improve students’ mathematical understanding and skills, foster critical thinking, and create a positive and interactive learning environment. These findings have important implications for mathematics education in the Republic of Türkiye and beyond, highlighting the potential of data analysis as a pedagogical tool to enhance students’ learning outcomes. Further research is needed to investigate the generalizability and sustainability of the benefits of data analysis as a teaching strategy.
