4. ANALYSIS АND RESULTS
In the current era of the spread of new information technologies, the development of the world community has reached such a stage that it is changing, manifesting its influence on all aspects of socio-economic life. Such changes in social and economic life are recognized by economists in such a way that it is determined by the fact that the development of human civilization has entered a new stage. In their opinion, the decisive factor at this stage of civilization is the knowledge and skills of people and information. The development trend of modern society is mainly characterized by a transition from a resource- based and industrial economy to the service economy. The focus is on the development of modern networks with great scientific potential and information technologies in the use of intellectual resources. This situation in the development of society requires a broader development of the service sector than other sectors of the economy. The formation and development of the service economy also affects the change in the gross domest ic product of countries based on a developed market economy. The main criterion is that the share of the services sector in GDP, which is currently being created to include a country in the list of developed countries, exceeds 65%. For example, the share of the service sector in the gross domestic product of the US economy is 78.0%, and this sector accounts for 40.0% of productive assets. In the European Union, the service sector accounts for 65.0-70.0% of GDP, and in Japan - 62.0%. In addition, 40.0% of direct investments in the world are in services sector. [15]. AJSHR, Vol. 2, No. 6, 2021 56 Published by “Global Research Network LLC" https://grnjournals.us/index.php/AJSHR The scientific and technical revolution of the 1950s led to a qualitative change in the productive forces, a fundamental renewal of the material and technical base of production and a deepening of the international division of labour. As a result, the number of people employed in services sector in developed market economies has increased since the 1970s. In the service economy, knowledge and information play an important role in production. As a result, information exchange has become a crucial feature of the service economy. In addition, the service sector now becomes a network that distributes and uses information [7]. Today, the activities of service companies are becoming more profitable than production, because the turnover of financial resources in service companies is also faster and, most importantly, require less investment to set up a business. At the present stage of the country's economic development, the requirements for the number and quality of services are growing. The application of the experience of developed countries has led to increased demand for services. This, in turn, led to changes in the structure of the consumer market. As a result of improving the material well-being of certain segments of the population, a new category of consumers has appeared who have their own needs and needs for services. Wealthy consumers are in great demand for a wide range of services that increase their comfort. Therefore, some service companies focus their activities on meeting the needs and demands of the population. In present conditions, reforms should be aimed at improving the efficiency of the national economy. One of the important directions is the development of the service sector, which is an integral part of it, improving the quality of services to the population and meeting its various needs. Studies show that today the activities of enterprises and organizations engaged in service activities, as well as individual entrepreneurs, make a significant contribution to the economy of the state. In the last years of the twentieth century, ideas about global prospects for future development began to emerge in developed countries. In view of the need to improve the standard of living of people in society, foreign and domestic scientists are paying increasing scientific attention to ensuring an average lifestyle and reducing the gap between material stratification of the population. They also focus on the study of the "quality of life" as the main goal of current socio-economic development. Currently, the socio-economic development of the world differs sharply from its predecessors in meaning and content. A new interpretation of economic growth requires modern conceptual approaches to the global economy. In particular, effective activity in the field of service economy has been studied more widely than production activity, which is primarily due to the fact that socially oriented activity is aimed at ensuring the level and quality of life in society [12]. In the context of effective activity, which is characterized by decision-making in the service economy, the following can be distinguished: 1. In the service economy, business is focused primarily on improving efficiency that is, more fully meeting the specific (special) needs of customers. In the industrialized economy, the focus is on increasing the production of more goods. 2. The concept of profitability in the service economy coincides with the nature of the usefulness of goods, which determines how the system of material availability and services has improved. In the industrial economy, only the availability of material side of the product is taken into account. |
