Relevance of the topic. The study of gender relations has risen to the level of public policy in our country because of gender the problem represents issues such as raising spirituality, self-awareness, and non-violation of human rights. Given that language is closely related to man, issues focused on the study of human consciousness, worldview, spiritual and practical activities may be reflected in paremas. The gender, pragmatic, cognitive features of female and male concepts in the paremiological system of language have not been sufficiently studied.
To study this issue. It is necessary to compare the means of languages ​​representing different national cultures, to analyze the national mentality and its characteristics. Comparative analysis of different languages ​​from a gender point of view provides important theoretical and practical ideas for specialists in the field of sociology and psychology. This suggests that linguistic genealogy is inextricably linked with sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics.This explains the relevance of the research topic in this paper it is possible that the concepts of woman and man represent the means of language. For the first time in the paremiological layer of English and Uzbek languages ​​are studied from the point of view of gender studies.
The degree to which the problem has been studied. It is no coincidence that the national-cultural problems of the specific paremiological system of language have now become the object of study of many linguists. This can be explained by the attention and interest in the problem of language and culture in recent years, the development of modern linguistics in the anthropological paradigm.
The gender, cognitive, pragmatic features of phraseology are reflected in the works of several linguists. Including A.V. Kirilina made a comparative study of gender stereotypes based on Russian and German phraseology². D.V.Semenova studied the characteristics of the manifestation of gender stereotypes in the phraseological units and paremia of English, Russian and Kabardian languages³.
In Uzbek linguistics in-depth scientific research has been conducted on the comparative study of paremiology at the lexical, semantic, grammatical levels, the study of their cognitive, pragmatic and stylistic features. In particular, Sh. Raxmatullaev, B.Jo’rayeva ⁴.
But, the concepts of women and men in Uzbek phraseology and paremia have not been compared in terms of gender studies.
