INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD dissertation) 
The purpose of research is improving the methodology of increasing the 
effectiveness of teaching the subject “Computer support”. 
The object of research is the process of improving the methodology of 
increasing the effectiveness of teaching the subject “Computer support”. 
The subject of research is content, form, methods and means of increasing 
the effectiveness of teaching the subject “Computer support” in higher educational 
institutions. 
The scientific novelty of research is as follows: 
based on pedagogical software tools, the algorithm of analysis and synthesis 
of knowledge of the students on the subject “Computer support”, the development 
of intellectual and creative thinking skills, as well as creative and constructive 
abilities and professional competencies has been improved; 
teaching the subject “Computer support” in higher educational institutions has 
been improved based on teaching technologies, e-learning tools (teaching tools in 
3D format, virtual education technologies, electronic simulators, training programs) 
and systematization of online diagnostic software for assessing students’ 
knowledge by stages of training and creative competence; 
the teaching of the subject is improved based on the stages of organizing 
practical and laboratory classes on the subject “Computer support” and didactic e-
learning tools used in teaching, the integration of interactive educational 
technologies; 
scientific and methodological recommendations for the development of 
students’ competence are developed based on information and educational 
environments aimed at organizing independent educational activities in the subject 
of “Computer support”, didactic online courses and assignments aimed at creative 
thinking.
