Assignments were distributed to 2nd-year students aimed at determining
their qualifications and skills in special field and academic English. In it: 1st task is
to determine special professional skills in English, to write a biography (CV,
Resume) for the agricultural sector; Task 2 was designed to determine the ability to
translate a special academic authentic equipment manual in English.
Based on these exercises, the indicators of the results of the initial status of
special vocational and special academic English language skills of students of the
2nd stage are covered in the following table (see table 3.9):
