Conclusion
Reading is a delivery of language through the mouth. When we speak, we create sounds by using many parts of our body, including the lungs, vocal tract, teeth, tongue and lips. Reading is the interactive process where information is shared and acted upon by the listener. In order to communicate effectively teacher should develop reading and listening acting process among the students. Reading is the second of the four language skills (listening; reading; reading; writing), usually reading is the second language skill that students learn. The vocalized of form of language usually requires at least one listener. When two or more people speak or talk to each other, the conversation is called a dialogue. The dialogue can be planned or rehearsed, as in the delivery of a speech or presentation. The reading process can be formal and informal:

  • Informal speech is typically based on talking with family members and friends or people you know well;

  • Formal speech occurs in business, academic situations or when meeting person for the first time.

Reading is probably the language skill that most language learners with to master as soon as possible. It used to be the only language skill that was difficult to practice. Children will learn English reading skills as well as reading in other languages in primary and secondary school. Learning how to develop reading skills in English is very important for ESL students. It is one of the most important parts of learning reading is how students tend to communicate in daily life.
To develop the reading skills, students need to know the right words. Vocabulary development is where students understand the meanings and pronunciations of words necessary for communication. Grammar includes lots of important areas for spoken language such as understanding of tenses and correct way to structure sentence. Grammar helps us to convey the information in a way that the listener will recognize and understand. Understanding how to correctly pronounce words is another important element of reading skills. This involves understanding the small units which make up spoken language. In that case some phonemes might not be in ESL students’ native languages and children’s minds are trained to categorize phonemes in their first native language, so they can become confused. Fluency in spoken language is the ability to hear words and understand them in straight way. Fluency in spoken language is something that naturally develops as children go through school, as they are using and practicing reading skills in daily life. Reading widely and aloud is a good way to improve fluency as it introduces children to new vocabulary and reinforces their knowledge of spoken language. It builds their confidence and also helps them to annunciate better.
As an ESL student, reading skills are considered the most important part of learning language. In a fact, majority of language learners measure their performance by how well they can speak. As most effective foreign language learning takes place through interaction, it's a skill that can be honed to really build an understanding of the language and culture of English-reading countries. Teachers need to encourage students to speak as much as possible. They can make it as fun as the structure of their lessons will allow. This might be through role-play, group work or even projects. Throughout the primary school, children will learn to:
