Participants have 7 minutes to develop a role play about their type of feedback.
Monitor & check that everyone understands their type of feedback. They can watch Video 2 again if they need help.
Participants present their role plays.
The audience participants guess what type of feedback is in the role play.
If participants make any mistakes, correct them using the methods in the video.
After all the groups have presented, ask:
-CCQs about the types of feedback
-what kind of feedback you gave during the presentations and if your feedback was anxiety-free
TRANSITION: Now that we have had a chance to practice asking comprehension checking questions and giving feedback, the next step is to apply what you’ve learned to your classroom. After lunch, you will work together to design an activity from your grade level textbook that includes giving clear instructions, asking comprehension questions, and giving effective feedback.
