Last week we talked about what a CoP is and what we will do in the ESN
CoP. This week, we are going to take a closer look at observations.

Introduction to the CoP Session 2

Session Outcomes: Review self- and peer-observation materials to be used by Mentees Practice self-observation Practice pre-and post-observation discussions Practice active listening skills through activities and using observation resources
Preparation: Print Resource: Key Words & Phrases Bring markers and poster paper. Provide copies of RPM and Mentee handouts Sticky notes on all desks ***Note: Anything labeled “Handout” is in the Mentee Workbook. Anything labeled “Resource” is not in the Mentee Workbook. It is not a handout for Mentees, it is for you to use during the session.
