Transition: Besides reflecting on your own teaching practices, you will need to observe at least one other Mentee. Let’s look at peer observations now.

   There are two questions you should ask a Mentee before you observe them:

   After you have the pre-observation conversation, you will observe the Mentee using the rubric.

   After the observation, you will have a post-observation conversation.

   In a post-observation conversation, the teacher reflects on their lesson and the observer can give effective, supportive feedback. Let’s practice a post-observation conversation.

   One of you will be the teacher, and one will be the observer. Read the post-observation conversation together.

   After they have read the post-observation conversation, Mentees will practice a post-observation conversation using the Eco Park lesson.

   Let’s practice the post-observation conversation one more time with your partner.

   Decide who will be the teacher and who will be the observer.

   Look at the Eco Park handout.
   
4. 
   Change the post-observation conversation topic from making a complaint to Eco Park.

   When you finish, switch roles.
