THE ROLE OF LINGUO-METHODICAL COMPETENCE IN TRAINING

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of pre-service foreign language teacher’s
linguo-methodical training at teacher training universities on the basis of integrative
dialogic approach. The term “lingvometodika”
is analysed,
mechanisms of linguo-
methodical training management are outlined.

In the conditions of a modern open society, the social and didactic status of a
foreign language significantly increases. Accordingly, new requirements arise for the
teacher of a foreign language and the system of its preparation at the university.
Applying a philosophical understanding of
development to educational
systems, researchers consider it as a process of qualitative changes in the components
of
the system and structure, as a result of which it acquires
new characteristics and
properties that together determine a new result - improving the quality of education.
It is noted that the stability and stability of the educational system, obtaining a
guaranteed high-quality result are achieved subject to its integrity. The concept of the
integrity of the preparation of a modern foreign language
teacher is reflected in the
requirements of the State Education Standard of Higher Professional Education for its
results - mastery of a set of competencies characterizing the professional competence
of a teacher. In this case, the competence of a foreign language teacher is the integrity
