2.2 Organization of educational cooperation
The ideology of collaborative learning was developed in detail by three groups of American educators. The main idea of this technology is to create conditions for active joint activity of students in different learning situations. The students are different, but if everyone is responsible for the result of the whole group, then his work will be aimed at eliminating possible gaps in the study of the material. This is the general idea of collaborative learning. Polat E.S. offers several options for this method: 1. Training V /Student Team Learning (STL): A) individually - group work /Student-Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD); C) team-tournament work / Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT). 2. JIGSAW 3.Learning together Of great importance is the creation of psychological and didactic conditions for the development of students' desire to learn a foreign language (FL), interest in the linguistic and cultural diversity of the world, the development of communicative speech tact, communication skills when communicating with people from other countries, to form the image of languages of international communication. It is these guidelines and goals of FL as an academic subject that influenced the creation of the “School of FL at School” Project, within which “ENGLISH Together School” has been operating since September 2000. Education carried out By Diana Webster, Anne Worrall “English together” + “Round-up” methodology . Are used video courses : “COCKOU”(Longman), “On Camera”(Longman), “English for schoolcholdren” and others _ Classes are held daily for 30 minutes on the following aspects: vocabulary, grammar, speaking, reading, listening. Children have a specific diary where marks are given according to a ten-point system developed by teachers in collaboration with students. . The mission of the “School of FL at school” is to Modernization and optimization of the educational process as the basis for improving the quality of teaching a foreign language. . The general pedagogical policy is to create A progressive creative approach to the learning process, the use of innovative technologies for training and education. . The Code of Conduct for Educators includes · Creating a climate of mutual trust and respect with students; · By means of the subject "English" to solve the problems of the intellectual development of children, to influence the pace of mental development of the child; to identify and use hidden reserves, to educate the intra-school culture of the individual; · To give students who wish to receive additional knowledge on the subject “English” in the classes “English Together”. 4. The principles of project implementation are based on: · Immersion in the language environment. If you have any questions, you can contact any of the teachers or the consultant on duty. · Studying the facts of the culture of the countries of the studied language and Russia. · Improving quality based on the concept of student-centered learning and innovative technologies. . Active forms of work on intercultural communication in the implementation of this project are:[ 50 – 61p]. o Organized rest during breaks: reading the monthly newspaper about the everyday life of the “School” and the gymnasium, game moments, musical minutes that do not interfere with teachers of other academic subjects, o demonstration of video courses in foreign languages, o introduction of a new type of monitoring during the examination session o knowledge marathon on language aspects (grammar, reading, listening, speaking), o management of research activities of teachers and students and the annual decade of the English language, o creation of the information center of the newspaper “Diligence”, o organization of test weeks, o design of competitive exhibitions, word contests, o KTS (team tournament competition), o maintaining a literary living room (dramatization of works), o organizing an annual festival of English songs with the invitation of native speakers, etc. . Team-tournament competition in English. Having studied various interesting options for learning in collaboration and partially using them in our lessons, we really wanted to create something of our own, not very traditional, so that students would be interested not only in learning English, but also in helping others. This idea came up on its own. Considering the individual-group and team-game work described by Polat E.S., at the end of the last academic year, we began to hold an English language competition among the 5th grades of the gymnasium. We called it KTS. Team, because the whole group, which is a team, participates in the competition. In total, there are six 5th grades in the gymnasium, each of which is divided into two groups for studying a foreign language, so there are 12 teams. Thus, in the diagram we see: 5A (I, II), 5B (I, II), 5C (I, II) and so on. Here are the initials of the teachers. Tournament competition is because only one student from the group defends the honor of his team once a week. The students do not know who will go to CTC next, but they are looking forward to the queue and with great enthusiasm want to participate. They do not suspect that there is one rule: every week, students of the same level of performance in FL meet in the CTS room. What does it mean? For example, today the teacher conducts CTS with students who have a grade of “3”, and next week excellent students will participate in CTS. Assignments are prepared according to the level of students. At the information booth, which is located in the “English Hall”, at the beginning of the quarter CCC stage we have a poster of the future chart, the CCC schedule by week. After each competition, the results of the week appear next to each other, and the chart grows up to the maximum number of points. If we have five weeks in a given quarter, then five competitions, respectively. For one participation, you can earn 12 points, because. teams -12. Total 60 points per stage.[ 120 p]. It must be said that the student learns about his participation only the day before, and on this day all classmates instruct him not to let his team down. And during the week you can hear the phrase: “Learn the words. Suddenly, you will go to KTS ... ", or" Did you do your homework? The same can be on KTS…”. To feel the whole atmosphere that reigns in our “English Hall”, you need to see the faces of the participants in the competition when they are interested in the results. A student who has a “3” in FL, seeing his name in the first place in the list of results, instantly transforms, “grows” when everyone congratulates him. I must say that during the KTS, the final places did not fall below the sixth, so even the sixth place is satisfying. This fact means that all students cope with the tasks . In practice, it is learning by communication. The task of the KTS is designed for 3-5 minutes, according to the level of the competitors .. And what about them? For example: 1. Say as many words as possible on the topic studied this week. 2. In 3 minutes, write as many words as possible on the topic studied this week. . Make up 5 complex sentences on the topic. . Make up 5 good questions on the topic. . Picture. Describe. . Picture / photo. Ask as many questions as you can. . Situation: You have arrived in London. In 5 minutes, give as much information as possible about yourself. . Situation: A guest from London has come to you. In 5 minutes, ask him about yourself. . Make up questions for these sentences. . Give complete answers to these questions. Now about the results.[ 37 – 49]. On the diagram, where each week is painted over with a certain color, the winner is clearly visible. Teams that take I, II places are awarded. The prize can be: an excursion, an English lesson. with a teacher from the UK, free education in additional foreign language courses, a birthday cake ... Thus, an unusual competition outside the classroom helps not only increase the motivation to study this subject, but also teaches children mutual assistance, responsibility, concern for others, learning in cooperation with each other. This academic year, teachers of other subjects became interested in CTS. The idea of holding competitions in mathematics and the Uzbekistan language was put forward. At the end of the year, we will be able to compare the results and say which class prefers which subject. Thus, as a result of joint work on the technology of cooperation, the assimilation of all the material is achieved. The basic principles: rewards for the whole team, individual approach, equal opportunities - work here too. It should be noted that when using the technology of cooperation, it is not enough to form groups and give tasks. The bottom line is that the student wants to acquire knowledge himself. And the situation of the success of the group becomes a factor in the development of the student's personality and a guarantee of a positive attitude to learning, to school, to science, to work, to oneself. Collaborative learning ensures not only the successful mastering of educational material by all students by increasing the time of oral-speech practice for each student in the group, but also contributes to the intellectual development of children, their activity and independence in achieving the task.
