The aim of the research is to give EFL teachers an enhanced understanding of two different approaches to teaching English grammar and also, perhaps, of the potential usefulness of these approaches, and to investigate which of the two approaches work the best.
In order to achieve the above mentioned aim we should carry out the following tasks:
1) to identify and justify the actuality of the chosen theme;
2) to classify teaching grammar methods;
3) to make a qualitative and quantitative analysis of teaching grammar skill techniques to EFL learners in English languages;
4) to work out useful ways to improve methodologies for developing EFL learner’s abilities
The novelty of the as proved by the fact that the topic of research has not been studied totally yet and needs further investigation. So, the scientific novelty of the research lies in the following:
1) The methodic and technical features of teaching grammar skill techniques to EFL learners in English languages;
2) A detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of grammar approaches for developing have been analyzed;
3)The most useful strategies and methodical recommendations for developing grammar skills in English foreign language classrooms have been worked out and offered for extensive use.
Theoretical importance of the graduation paper is determined by the examples used by the writers in their artworks the means of expressing of which are they very often used in literature fulfilling various linguistics or methodological functions. Actually, the theoretical importance of this work lies in the fact that the teaching of grammar should also ultimately center attention on the way grammatical items or sentence patterns are correctly used. In other words, teaching grammar should encompass language structure or sentence patterns, meaning and use. One could just as well incorporate communicative tasks and real context into their grammar teaching.
The practical value of the research is traced in that the results of the research can be used in lectures on methodology of contemporary English in higher educational institutions socio-linguistics, intercultural communication, in the theory and practice of activities methodology of teaching foreign (English) language and providing sources for seminars in the practice of teaching English.
The main provisions of this research may serve a basis for further study of the effectiveness of grammar skill activities and other such like part of exercises. Objectives of the Study - study of didactic and psychological factors, existing problems and opportunities for the development of teaching grammar skills to English foreign language classrooms;
- analysis of the advantages and effectiveness of the grammar materials in the teaching of the language in harmony with the lifestyle and culture of native speakers in the formation of practical skills in the foreign language of future professionals;
- development of methodological support for the development of students' grammar skills in English through teaching materials in the context of traditional offline education;
- development of content and forms of development of students' grammar skills in online education through different materials and electronic textbooks;
- to test the developed methodological support in the process of classroom lessons and distance learning and to determine the effectiveness of the development of grammar skills of students in English.
