Habitat loss impact can be further mitigated by post-construction restoration and 
compensatory offsets: 
 
Restore habitat post-construction in unused land areas that are not required for O&M 
maintenance; and
 
Compensatory offsets may be applied in adjacent degraded areas to restore and 
revitalize similar natural habitats subject to the findings of the Biodiversity Action Plan 
(BAP).
The EPC contractor shall commit to the post-construction restoration of all affected areas to 
natural habitat conditions. The exact scope and methodology will be detailed in a Restoration 
Action Plan. 
Further, a corresponding amount of Foothill and Stony slopes habitats that are lost will be 
compensated via protection and/or restoration of similar habitat in areas outside of the 
operational footprint. The exact locations shall also be determined in the Restoration Action 
Plan.
With post-construction restoration and compensatory restoration of the same amount of land 
and/or habitats as much as possible, the residual significance is Neutral to Minor.
