1.  In what way might scientific and pedagogic accounts differ with respect to the 
notion of the ‘zero article’ (or ‘zero determiner’)?
2.  Do you agree with the claim that determiners are not a separate class? Or do you 
feel that the ‘prestidigitation’ involved (making inconvenient exceptions disappear) 
is not valid?
3.  What  position  should  teachers  adopt  on  the  above-mentioned  issues  of
