Importance of the topic: Headlines in scientific texts are the main means of determining the content of the text, representing the most important information in the text. It is precisely universal component of the text that serve as a basis for the reader to understand the text at first glance. Whatever the text is, the headline of the title is to help the recipient understand what the article is about, encourage it to accept the information, and help the reader understand it.
Aim of the topic: to investigate regarding peculiarities of headlines in linguistics and translation issues of headlines from English into Uzbek in Scientific Texts
Tasks of the topic:


  • To study on the translation of newspaper headlines in scientific texts;

  • To allow the reader to select information texts and distinguish them from each other;

  • To find out linguistic features of headlines in English and Uzbek languages;

  • To prove theory of the manuscript by examples of translation English lexical units into the Uzbek

Object of the topic:
Subject of the topic: juridicial texts and theorotical data
Methods that we used in our work: data-analyzing method, descriptive method, translation method.
Theoretical significance of course paper includes the importance of knowledge on translation theory as a future translator or interpreter.
The practical significance is that, students or researchers can use gathered materials in this work as a material for their own research works.
Scientific novelty is that we translated some texts and tried to demonstrate the correspondence of content in translation.
The structure of the course paper. The course paper includes an introduction,two chapters, a conclusion and a list of literature. It consists of 30 pages.

Chapter I. Peculiarities of Headlines in Linguistics
1.1 Types of Headlines
Headlines are the first things readers see. We have a 2 second rule here at Headlime. If they don’t see something relevant to them within that time period, they will move on.
